It’s a new year and a new year deserves a new skin. I have added a new skin to the site to update the old, basic look. This new skin is somewhat simple but at the same time more complex and better looking than the old one. The posts are still easy to read and the information is organized neatly. I think the old blue/white color’s were not representing Honda well. So I switched to a red/black/white look which really scream’s Honda. I have also added little Honda logo’s around the site to further incorporate a Honda theme. I hope you enjoy this skin as much as I do. Please feel free to give me feedback!

A very popular solution for increasing performace is swapping motor’s to a more powerful one. But where do you get those swaps? This article will give you some good information about where to find your motor swap so that when you recieve your motor you will be happy!

1.) Pull From Original Car - One way to get your motor swap is from the original car that it was in. The hard part about this method is finding the right car with the motor you want. You can search junkyard’s for hours and not find anything worth buying. Another downside is that you might not know what the motor went through since the car is used and has had other owners. The advantage of pulling the motor from the original car is that you can see exactly how many miles are on it. Most motor websites say their motors have under 40,000 miles on them, but they dont provide proof and you will never know.

2.) Buy Locally/Non-Commercial Seller – Another way to get your motor swap is to Continue reading »

This is an update to the turbo project I posted about last month. I made a parts list and said I was going to change things around once I got to buying parts, and thats exactly what happened. Instead of buying a T25 turbo, I got my hands on a T28 turbo. A T28 is a hybrid between a T3 and a T25. I also deleted the adapter from the list because I have a hybrid turbo, which uses the T3 flange to connect to the manifold, which is T3.

I also recieved my blow-off valve (BOV for short) and turbo manifold. The BOV is a red Type RS BOV, which is the same one I had on the list. I also got my manifold which was the one I originally planned to get. All the parts look great so far. I am very happy with the project. I took some pictures of the parts.
